I spent an hour making this. Was a lot of fun trying to replicate my lighting in my workroom, as I almost have a 3 point lighting system. Learning about the snap to grid movement really helped with the mathematically correct feeling of legos. Also enjoyed collections and keeping things together. There’s a lot more that I could do here, but I realized once I had made the “pegs” on the plate that my plate was too long (it’s a 6x10 plate).
I could sit there and fiddle with the scale, but what I really wanted to be able to do (which I know has to be possible, but I’m a bit short on time to spend on this for today right now) is grab the bottom edge while scaling and scale on the z-axis upward, instead of scale on the z-axis equally from the top and bottom edge. I’m not sure what that is called, so I didn’t attempt to Google it yet. If anyone has a thought, would love it, but I’m also sure I’ll learn about it soon enough.
